The mandate

Serving the Crown, administering the state

All authority proceeds from the Prince-Abbot; the Cabinet exercises it daily.

Alongside the Principality's ancient councils — the Crown Council, the Council of State and the Monastic Council — the Cabinet carries the modern executive: it prepares the acts of government, conducts the administration and answers for its conduct to the Sovereign.

The office responsible for the Principality's engagements with other states, international organizations, and the pursuit of recognition and cooperation among micro-states.
